EDI and CSR Statement

At Capacity, we believe that public services should be people-centred, inclusive and accessible to everyone and our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and creating social value is at the heart of this.

We imagine a world where public services recognise the diverse needs and experience of all individuals, creating equitable opportunities for engagement and support.

Our DEIB vision is to create a vibrant culture where everyone feels seen, heard and empowered to show up as their authentic selves by championing diversity in all its forms. By embracing a spectrum of perspectives and backgrounds, we’ll enhance the quality and impact of public services to truly reflect communities in the Liverpool City Region.

We want to make a lasting, positive impact on the world around us. We recognise our responsibility to give back to the people, places, and communities we work with in the North West and by doing this, we contribute to the broader social and environmental landscape.

We want the difference we make to have true impact on the communities in LCR, so we ensure our activities and behaviours are:

• Long term and sustainable.

• Intentional and embedded in our culture.

• Grounded in listening to the lived experiences of marginalised voices in LCR, ensuring our efforts are reflective of the real need in our  communities.

• Tracked and accountably linked to how we operate our business.

Through commitment to these principles, continuous learning, open dialogue and proactive collaboration, we’re building an inclusive organisation where differences are celebrated and everyone can thrive, so together we can make public services people services.
